What a wonderful weekend!

Well another weekend is done and it's finally getting warmer outside. I had a splendid weekend this weekend. It started off a little puzzling. That's right, Friday evening I pulled out a jigsaw puzzle and the fun began. Saturday I went grocery shopping and mostly just relaxed. Then in the evening, Warren and Liane invited me over for some cheese fondue. It was really really really good. It was an evening filled with fun and laughter. We rented Open Season, and I quite enjoyed it. That evening was a wonderful reminder of how blessed I am to have such wonderful friends who love me, even if I'm not married like most of them, hahahaa. On Sunday I went to church in the morning and we celebrated communion. Then after to church it was off to Altona and Gretna. We always get together with my aunt, uncle, and mom's cousin and their families to celebrate two birthdays in Feb. Usually we rent the Gretna area and play some hockey. This time it was the MCI gym and we played floor hockey for an hour and then off to enjoy some really good food. We had the usual, two different kinds of chili, salad, and lots of dessert. The food that evening was so good, the only thing better was the laughter going on between my cousins, second cousins and I. It was quite the evening. What a weekend it was and the weather was pretty neat too. If I had to choose a favourite winter weather it would be like it was this weekend, not too cold, and big fluffy snowflakes! Now I'm really sore from playing floor hockey, not sure why. Maybe I'm getting old, oh dear. Not too sure how to end this post so may as well have a nice awkward closing. AWKWARD!!!
